The student must learn the rules and terminology of the game. The students must also learn how to shuffle and deal from a single deck, double deck, 6 deck shoe and an 8 deck shoe. The student must also master the correct handling of chips and distribution of cards as related to the game of Blackjack. Correct procedure of dealing the game and game protection must also be mastered.

Objective The student will have complete understanding and be thoroughly conversant with the rules, techniques, systems, procedures and theory of Blackjack. Students skills and abilities will be developed to the point that will qualify them for entry as a casino Blackjack dealer at the beginners level (break-in).
